LED trailer lights are a compliance item before they are anything else: a dead marker or a wrong-colour lamp is a failed roadside inspection and a parked truck. This range covers 21 LED trailer tail lights, combination lamps and side marker lights, manufactured in-house from 24W to 84W for the positions a road vehicle has to certify: red/amber/white combination tail lamps, side outline and stalk marker lights, and fender- and cab-mount warning lamps. All of them are built for commercial trucks and trailers, sealed against road spray and salt, and low-draw enough for long trailer harnesses.
How to specify truck and trailer lighting
Fleet buyers work through three questions:
- Position and function: Rear combination lamps handle stop, tail, and turn duties; side and outline markers define the vehicle's length and width at night; fender- and cab-mount warning lights add visibility around the unit in yards and on site.
- Regulation and colour: Road rules fix lamp colours by position, red to the rear and amber along the side; specify DOT-marked lamps for North American fleets and E-Mark versions for European registration, with documentation for both available from us.
- Electrical: 9–32V DC input covers 12V trucks and 24V tractor units with one part number, and low current draw matters on trailers where dozens of lamps share one long harness.
Choose by trailer width and length
US federal rules change the lamp list at two dimensions, 80 inches of width and 30 feet of length, and a trailer builder can read the bill of materials straight off them:
- Every trailer: two red tail and stop lamps with turn signals, from TL-272 and TL-274 combination lamps or the TL-100 to TL-4400 tail lights; amber front and red rear side markers from the TL-6255 stalk and side marker series; a licence plate lamp.
- 30 feet and longer: add an amber intermediate side marker and reflector at the midpoint of each side.
- 80 inches and wider: add two amber front and two red rear clearance lamps, plus three red identification lamps at the top rear.
- 80 inches and over 10,000 lb GVWR: conspicuity tape becomes mandatory; specify it with the lamp set.
Mounting heights, colours by position and the six mistakes inspectors catch are in our guide to DOT trailer light requirements by width and length. Send the trailer width, length and GVWR with an RFQ and we quote the complete set.
From marker lamps to driving lights
Marker and tail lamps make the vehicle visible to others; seeing the road ahead is a separate job. For long-range forward lighting on tractor units and rural fleets, pair this range with our LED driving lights; truck work lights for loading zones and coupling areas sit in our wider work light range. And because the range carries TL-series part numbers across combination, outline, and stalk marker lamps, a trailer builder can source the complete lighting bill of materials from one supplier instead of three.
Built for the road, all year round
These truck and trailer lights are built against the three things that kill road lighting: salt spray, corrosion creeping into connectors, and the constant vibration of long-haul running. Every lamp here uses a sealed IP67–IP69K housing, potted electronics that ride out vibration for the life of the trailer, stainless steel hardware that resists winter salt, and EMC suppression to CISPR 25 so CB radios and telematics stay clean. Light distribution of every tail and marker lamp is measured in our photometric darkroom, and DOT-marked versions ship with documentation on request.
OEM and wholesale ordering
We supply LED trailer lights in wholesale volumes to trailer manufacturers, fleet workshops, and parts distributors worldwide. Standard MOQ is 60 pieces per model with production lead times of 15–25 working days; order 1–5 samples first and run them on your own vehicles before committing. Private-label branding, custom connectors and cable lengths, and certification documents (DOT, E-Mark, CE) are available on request. Send us your trailer specification and target market and we will quote the full lamp set.
Beyond the catalogue, we also develop lights from scratch to customer requirements, from design and 3D-printed prototypes to production tooling, with exclusive supply protection. Learn more about our custom LED light development service.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these road-legal for my market?
Compliance requirements vary by market. Many models carry E-Mark / ECE certification; tell us your destination market and we'll confirm the right certified part.
For the US lamp list by trailer width and length, see our DOT trailer light requirements guide.
What colours and sizes are available?
Marker and outline lights are available in standard colours and mounting formats; share your requirement and we'll match it.
Can you supply for fleet volumes?
Yes. These are commonly supplied to fleets and distributors. MOQ and pricing scale with volume.
What does the DOT marking cover on trailer lamps?
The DOT marking certifies the lamp meets US federal photometric and colour requirements for its position, which is exactly what a roadside inspector checks. E-Mark versions cover European registration. Our vehicle lighting certifications guide maps each mark to its market.
Can one lamp part number serve mixed 12V and 24V fleets?
Yes. 9–32V DC input means the same part number runs on 12V rigid trucks and 24V tractor units, halving the SKUs a mixed fleet has to stock. See our multi-volt input guide for how this works on long trailer harnesses.
Do you supply complete lamp sets for trailer builders?
Yes. TL-series part numbers span combination tail lamps, outline markers, and stalk markers, so a builder can source the whole lighting bill of materials from one factory. Send your trailer specification and request a quote for the full set.
